Annette Griffiths, Remaining.

‘In a quiet churchyard in Breel, a village in Normandy France, is a Commonwealth War Grave for three young British airmen shot down above the field beyond the churchyard, eight days before the liberation of the whole region. One airman had been born the same year as my father, who died just a few years ago at 94.’

Annette has delivered oil painting courses in the Dordogne, the French Alps, and on the Norfolk coast. Her work has been widely exhibited and she has taken part in Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions.

Annette is a studioholder at Bank Street Arts. Her work is being exhibited as part of LEAVE//REMAIN, our 2016 members’ exhibition. We’ll be hosting an open evening at 6pm on Friday 28th Oct.
