Noel Williams
At the heart of Noel's residency at Bank Street was the opportunity to find the time and space to write a new poetry sequence on the theme of women and warfare. Thanks to funding from the Arts Council the project developed into a major cross platform exhibition. (MORE)
Darren Chouings
In 2008, Darren successfully curated 3 contemporary art events entitled PRISM at the Showroom Cinema in Sheffield. After researching current art spaces in Sheffield, Darren approached Bank St Arts with a view to organising a similar event using various galleries within the Bank Street Centre. (MORE)
James Dodd
An exploration of Bank Street Arts' relationship and engagement with lens based media. It is hoped that the initial activities and exhibitions will help us develop a more active engagement with photography and film. (MORE)
Susannah Gent
Susannah is a film maker currently working in ‘fine art’ taxidermy. In her own words, she is "preserving and arranging animal & bird skins and exploring the craft of taxidermy whilst re-contextualising the traditional focus. (MORE)
Stephen Chase

Kenneth Horne
Kenneth Horne was the first Artist in Residence at Bank Street Arts from April to December 2008, and was instrumental in helping to shape our current residency programme and the thinking behind it. (MORE)
Paul Matosic
Paul Matosic works mainly with found or recycled objects - expressing a healthy disdain for a society that is consumed by its desire to acquire 'stuff'. Paul created a large wall based installation in one of our galleries in the Summer of 2009. (MORE)
Art in the Park
Art in the Park was initiated in 2003 by local artists living and working in North West Sheffield as a response to local need and has developed into a city wide organisation. Art in the Park will use their residency at Bank Street to create a base for their volunteer training programme. (MORE)
