Mark Gittins

Mark Gittins’ work merges lo-fi, treated video with ambient machine music and field recordings to create a hightened sense of dislocation in the viewer. In the three month Residency he will attempt to build an installation based around the idea of Maps and how we use them to find and loose ourselves, symbolise and misrepresent our environment and to mislead and guide others. The work will be created from salvaged materials, low and high technology and will be developed throughout the period of the Residency.
