Liz will be based in one of our Project Spaces for three months with the aim of creating a site specific installation using hairdressing dummy heads. Liz says, “I will be using the studio to experiment with the idea of identity and image. Hairdressers’ head models will be dissected and distorted to form a permanent piece which will merge with the building itself.I’ll be documenting the project as it progresses, with photographs and updates on my wordpress blog.”
