An evening of comedy from critically acclaimed, Fringe-bound performers Tom Burgess and Glenn Moore.
The Edinburgh Fringe is the biggest performing arts festival in the world, and comedy makes up a large part of that. Join us as we bring to you a number of acts who will be making their way north of the border this summer, as they preview some of their material.
Tom Burgess has been a Fringe regular for a number of years and won the So You Think You’re Funny comedy competition in 2013. Join him as he introduces you to Peter Fleming, a retired children’s TV presenter who is desperately clinging on to his past glory.
“Gleeful silliness” (Skinny)★★★★ “Comedic brilliance” (ThreeWeeks)
Glenn Moore was both a So You Think That’s Funny finalist and a Chortle Student Comedy Awards runner-up within his first 10 gigs. Since then he has risen up the ranks, selling out runs at the Fringe as part of his sketch duo The Thunderbards, who have been voted one of the top ten funniest acts at the Fringe. You may also recognise Glenn’s voice from his day job, reading the news of various radio stations including Capital, Heart, XFM, and Sky News Radio. Moore now presents his brand new Edinburgh Fringe show ‘Glenn Gary Glen Glenn’, packed full of well written and delivered jokes and one liners.
