Scab Hour

| Friday | 11th March | 7.30pm |

Sean Morley has been ‘setting the bar for alternative comedy in Sheffield for some time now’ (Sheffield Culture Guide) and gets his stint as our first comedian in residence underway with a performance on Friday 11th March. Sean’s groundbreaking shows Speed Dating With Jeremy Corbyn and Sean Morley’s Lonely Party have entered Sheffield comedy folklore, so whatever he serves up- and we’re pretty much in the dark about what exactly it’s going to be- is not to be missed. Doors open at 730pm.

‘I laughed like a banshee. It was one of those kind of acts where you didn’t know where it was going to go and then it suddenly ended and you wanted more’ – Jocelyn Esien (Little Miss Jocelyn/ Three Non Blondes)

His bizarre parallels of surrealism and sharp wit create a unique brand of comedy that draws a packed out room of punters‘ – Forge Press

‘Very funny’ – a BBC Executive Producer in passing, while shaking Sean’s hand as he said goodbye.
