Stephen Carley, Abstract Memory Remnant A to B | 18th January- February 4th, preview event Fri 20th 6pm
Long-standing Bank Street Arts collaborator Stephen Carley returns this month with his new show Abstract Memory Remnant A to B. For the exhibition, Stephen set subtly different parameters to his recent studio work and used drawing and audio in tandem, working between each medium, allowing one to ‘influence’ the other: ‘I’m not making random marks whilst the music is playing, this isn’t ‘interpreting sound through drawing’, it’s far more ‘musique concrete’ than that.’
Why am I doing it?
What am I hoping to to communicate?
Who and what is it actually for?
The show previews on Fri 20th January from 6pm.
