Galleries
The galleries are available to hire for a few weeks each year. Please e-mail for next availability.
Our policy is always to be as flexible as possible so even if our programme looks packed we may be able to juggle things.
Basic hire costs are as follows:
5 GALLERY SPACES £300 per week £550 a fortnight
3 GALLERY SPACES £240 per week £440 a fortnight
2 GALLERY SPACES £180 per week £300 a fortnight
1 GALLERY SPACE £110 per week £175 a fortnight
Longer hire periods available on request at discounted rates.
We offer 10% discount on all hire to members. If the Main Entrance Gallery is hired on its own it counts as 2 spaces unless hired in conjunction with other spaces. Those hiring the space are expected to help with or provide invigilation. This will be one day a week or longer if multiple spaces are hired. The additional cost of paying invigilators (£35 per day) is chargeable if invigilation is required and not provided by the exhibitor.
25% Commission is charged on sales.
Meeting rooms, Functions and events
In addition to using the gallery spaces, we have a number of other spaces available at Bank Street for use as temporary meeting rooms, workshop spaces, book launches, private parties …. whatever you want really …. rates are very competitive – please phone or e-mail for details.
Basic room hire for meetings, classes, groups etc. is £30 per session (morning, afternoon or evening) for non members and £25 per session for members.
The main gallery space is available for hire for evening events from £60 per night (£50 for members, annual membership available at £10).
The space is provided with a minimum of 2 members of staff and a bar.
If you wish for a closed bar, or wish to supply your own drinks, an additional cost of £50 is required.
Catering can be provided on request for an additional fee, please contact for a quote.
Normal opening times of the galleries is Tuesday to Saturday, 10am – 5pm.
