The Poetry Business Writing Days are the benchmark in writing workshop provision. Unique when they were first introduced over twenty years ago, they have been continually popular with writers at all levels.
Writing Days are held monthly, usually on the last Saturday or each month, and take place at Bank Street and in the Premier Inn over the road.
In the morning there are games and exercises which will inspire poems. In the afternoon workshops we look at poems which people have either brought with them (bring a dozen copies if possible) or have written in the morning session and worked on over lunch.
The April Writing Day will be on the 21st.
As usual, we meet in the Conference Room of the Premier Inn at 10:15am, with half the group heading over to our offices at Bank Street Arts for the afternoon session.
Places are £25, £20 concs. Pay by cash or cheque on the day. Parking is available half price in the NCP car park, via the Premier Inn.
If you’re planning to attend, and haven’t already let us know, it would be much appreciated if you could email or leave a message on our answer phone (0114 346 3037).
